plagiarism policy

The International Journal of Advanced Fertility and Reproductive Sciences is committed to maintaining originality, academic integrity, and ethical standards in scholarly publishing. Plagiarism in any form is considered unacceptable.

All submitted manuscripts may be screened for plagiarism and substantial similarity with previously published or publicly available material. Authors are responsible for ensuring that their manuscripts contain original work and that all sources, ideas, quotations, data, and previously published material are appropriately acknowledged and cited.

The journal considers the following practices unacceptable:

  • Copying text, ideas, data, figures, or other material without appropriate attribution.
  • Presenting another person's work as the author's own.
  • Submitting substantially similar or previously published content as original work.
  • Self-plagiarism or inappropriate reuse of substantial portions of an author's previous publications without proper acknowledgment.
  • Manipulating or disguising copied material to avoid similarity detection.

If substantial plagiarism or inappropriate duplication is identified before publication, the manuscript may be rejected. If plagiarism is discovered after publication, the journal may investigate the matter and take appropriate action, which may include correction, withdrawal, or retraction of the published article.

Authors are encouraged to review their manuscripts carefully and provide proper citations before submission. Responsibility for the originality and integrity of the submitted work rests with the authors.
