Advertising Policy

The International Journal of Embryo Cryobiology and Reproductive Sciences aims to maintain an academic publishing environment in which advertising, sponsorship, and promotional activities do not compromise editorial independence, peer review, research integrity, or the quality of published content.

1. Purpose of Advertising

Advertising may be used, where appropriate, to support legitimate activities related to the journal and its publishing platform.

Advertising should be relevant to the journal's academic and professional audience and should not interfere with scholarly communication.

2. Editorial Independence

Advertising must remain separate from editorial decision-making.

  • Advertisers must not influence editorial decisions.
  • Advertising revenue must not affect peer-review outcomes.
  • Manuscripts must be evaluated independently of advertising relationships.
  • Editors should maintain independent scholarly judgment.

3. Advertising Content

Advertisements should be accurate, professional, and consistent with applicable laws and ethical standards.

The journal may decline advertisements that are:

  • Misleading or deceptive.
  • Inappropriate for an academic publication.
  • Offensive or discriminatory.
  • Unrelated to the journal's professional environment.
  • In conflict with research or publication ethics.
  • Likely to damage the credibility of the journal.

4. Separation from Editorial Content

Advertisements should be clearly distinguishable from scholarly and editorial content.

Advertising should not be designed in a way that could cause readers to mistake promotional material for peer-reviewed research or official editorial content.

5. Sponsored Content

Sponsored or promotional material, where permitted, should be clearly identified.

Sponsored content must not be presented as independent scholarly research unless it has undergone the appropriate editorial and peer-review process.

6. Pharmaceutical and Medical Advertising

Because the International Journal of Embryo Cryobiology and Reproductive Sciences covers reproductive sciences and related biomedical research, particular care should be taken with advertisements relating to medicines, medical products, fertility services, laboratory technologies, or healthcare products.

Such advertising should comply with applicable laws, regulations, professional standards, and ethical requirements.

7. Conflicts of Interest

Advertising or sponsorship arrangements should not create inappropriate conflicts of interest for authors, reviewers, editors, or the journal.

Relevant conflicts should be appropriately disclosed where necessary.

8. Advertising and Peer Review

The presence or absence of advertising must not influence the acceptance, rejection, revision, or publication of a manuscript.

Peer review and editorial decisions should remain independent of commercial considerations.

9. Right to Refuse or Remove Advertising

The journal may review advertisements before publication and may refuse, modify, suspend, or remove advertising that does not meet its standards or that may compromise the journal's reputation, independence, or ethical principles.

10. Accuracy and Responsibility

Advertisers are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and claims made in their advertisements.

Acceptance of an advertisement does not constitute endorsement of the advertised product, service, organization, or claim by the International Journal of Embryo Cryobiology and Reproductive Sciences.
